This is the Philips Streamium network music player. It is a compact and portable device which you can place anywhere the in the home and access your PC or Mac music collection through it wirelessly. It is easy to set up and works on Wi-Fi 802.11b or g standards. It features a 4 inch color LCD which displays your track information and album covers and you can even type in searches from the remote control. The speakers offer crisp, high quality sound and the device supports a good range of formats including MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, PCM, FLAC and DRM free iTunes.
As well as accessing your music collection via your computer you can also use this device standalone to receive Internet radio. You can add stations manually and set favorites easily. It also comes with a 30 day free trial of the Rhapsody music service which allows you to access millions of songs, once again without having to use your computer.
