This is an all-in-one wireless network music player with an amplifier and speakers. It is portable and as soon as you switch it on it will search for a wireless network. Once set up you can stream music from your PC, laptop or the internet wirelessly to the Squeezebox. Move it into whatever room you are in or use multiple players to have music throughout your house. With multiple players you can sync them to play the same list or station or you can have them play separate tracks or stations.
The Squeezebox plays as it downloads so there is no waiting involved and if you move it into another room it will automatically reconnect to the network as long as you are in range. It comes with ¾ inch high definition soft dome tweeters and 3 inch high power long throw woofers, a high performance signal processor, class D amplifier and digital crossover. The Squeezebox also features Stereo XL technology and it will play a wide range of audio formats including MP3, FLAC, WMA, AIFF, WAV, PCM, AAC, MP2, Musepack, Ogg Vorbis, WMA Lossless and Apple Lossless. It also has an alarm clock function and you can buy one for under $300.
