Linksys WMB54G Wireless-G Music Bridge

Most of us have our music collections on our PCs nowadays so finding a solution which allows you to stream music wirelessly from your PC to your stereo system or home theater is essential. There are lots of products out there which offer to do just that such as the Linksys WMB54G. This device plugs into your sound system via an RCA cable which is included and you can stream music from your computer wirelessly. Of course you’ll need a wireless network (802.11b or 802.11g) to get the best from this but they include an Ethernet port option just in case.
If your sound system supports 5.1 surround sound you can use the music bridge to convert stereo music to 5.1 channel sound. You can also choose exactly what to play from your PC so you needn’t be bothered by email sounds or computer related tones. The device comes with set up software but it can prove a little tricky to set up particularly if you are using a router.
