Holidays Season is over, so if you ended up with a bunch of Blu-ray discs but still don’t have a player, here’s the slimline slick-designed Panasonic DMPBD35. The Blu-ray DVD player features a Viera link, SD memory card slot, HD Audio Decoding and HDMI Out, Progressive scan, a component video connection, and Ethernet connection.

It supports 1080/24p playback and has DivX Video compatiblity, but if you were wondering what it plays, here’s the full list; BD-ROM, BD-R (Blu-Ray Disc Recordable), BD-RE (Blu-Ray Disc Re-Recordable), DVD+R/RW (Re-Recordable), DVD-RW (Re-Recordable), DVD-R (Recordable), DVD RAM (Re-Recordable), MP3 (MPEG-3), CD-R (Recordable), CD-RW (Re-Recordable), and JPEG (JPEG/Image CD) files.
One last thing that you should know about Panasonic DMPBD35 is that it features the BD-Live technology that allows it to access the Internet (wirelessly we think) to download images or even movie subtitles. Available for some $290 (199 pounds) we definitely think it’s a good buy.
