Many people nowadays spent a lot of time thinking how would it be like if there actually were wire clutter-free home theaters. Belkin made all this real by introducing on the market their latest invention. The FlyWire is a new wireless transmitter and receiver that can handle 1080p video over at 5GHz band.

According to the manufacturer, you won’t have to worry about interference or latency because there are none. That being said, the FlyWire features two component ins, three HDMI ins, one composite, one HDMI out and last but not least a infrared remote.

Belkin released on the market two packages: The FlyWire AV69003 ($999.99) is meant for a whole-home solution (IR backchannel for multi-room control included) and the FlyWire R1 AV69000 at $699.99 is meant for a single room (no IR backchannel).

These being said, stay tuned because FlyWire is ready for its customers starting this October.
