DIY Batmobile - The Tumbler
Posted August 6th, 2008 by Alex IonWhat can you say to a man that managed to build a stunning working replica of the Batmobile, the Tumbler, all by himself? He’s no Batman, but still deserves congrats and recognition.

Bob Dullam is the guy that took care of custom building all these details including the afterburner, the huge honking double-barrel wheels or the stealth-toothiness on all of the edges. Hell, he even built a Batsuit if you want to drive his vehicle.
What I’m really interested is to know some specs. MPG, top speed and such. No word on it though.
There is a cost to all these, and Bob estimates that when finished, the Tumbler would have cost him from $50k to $70k. Too bad he’s not going to sell it because I’m pretty sure there would have been a Bat-fanatic to pay him at least twice his expenses. Man I love the way it looks.

Do you like it? Would you drive it?
