Aztech’s WL850MS wireless HD multimedia streamers are designed to sit between your modem/router and HDTV settop box/console/media player. It comes as a receiver - transmitter pair supports 1080p media streaming via the high-speed 802.11n Wi-Fi technology.

It also has multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) antennas for extended coverage and 2.4 GHz /5GHz dual-band capability which makes the new WL850MS less prone to interferences like cordless phones, microwave ovens and Bluetooth devices.

There is another high end version available that integrates an ADSL/VDSL modem, 802.11n wireless router, network switch, DECT phone base, VOIP telephony, powerline adapter and a USB host along with all the standard features available in base model.

Griffin Evolve Wireless Sound System for Apple iPod

Griffin Technology has launched recently a new wireless sound system. The product was released on BestBuy.com, an online shop. The Evolve Wireless Sound System features a base unit dock, two wireless speakers and a RF remote control.

The dock station is compatible with iPod video, iPod photo and 1st- and 2nd-generation iPod nano. The unit recharges your iPod too, as it streams digital stereo sounds. The wireless speakers are powered by built-in lithium-ion batteries, which deliver up to 10 hours of functioning. Evolve Wireless Sound System has auxiliary audio in RCA jacks for alternate audio sources like other MP3 player for example.

USB Wireless Broadband Modem with Integrated Data Storage

Verizon Wireless has announced its USB727 Modem. The device is manufactured by Novatel Wireless and it is the first broadband modem that feature built-in microSD slot for data storage. The USB727 Modem supports 4GB storage, but microSD card is not included.

It works with almost all types of devices that feature a USB port. Also, it is compatible with most operating systems including indows (Vista, XP, 2000), Mac and Linux. The USB Wireless Broadband Modem has an integrated dual-band diversity antennae system with flip-up antenna to maximize data speed performance and provide a strong network signal reception. VZAccess Manager Software was included in the package for easy access at the USB727’s features.

The price tag for USB727 is about $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year agreement with Verizon Wireless. To get Broadband Access service for Internet browsing, e-mail and intranet access, Verizon’s customers will be charged with $59.99 monthly.
