Panasonic pink RP-HTX7 headphonesMore and more companies are “thinking pink” and started to develop products for the ladies. That’s the case with these retro pink headphones, the Panasonic RP-HTX7. Not sure about you but they really remind me of those helicopter headphones they used in Mash, except these are pink.

They have a response range from 7Hz to 22KHz and have been extra padded for comfort. Expect to pay $60 for them. Though they are expensive it could be the perfect gift for your geeky girlfriend.

Panasonic KX-WP800 Skype Phone

A new Skype phone has been revealed in Japan a few days ago. Skype phones are not a new thing but for Panasonic it is, that’s their first. Dubbed KX-WP800, it has a 1.8-inch TFT LCD display, can store up to 500 names and can be used to make phone calls with Skype on the Internet, without using a computer thanks to a WLAN router (IEEE802.11b) incorporated.

If you live in Japan then it’s very easy, because they have 32,000 FON access points where the new Panasonic KX-WP800 can connect to. It’s going to be available for sale from March 28 and the price is going to be near $290.

Posted Thursday, January 10th, 2008 by Alex Ion

Carry a 150-inch plasma

I’m not sure about you but I am damn curious to know how is Panasonic going to carry a plasma if they go above the 150-inch size? Apparently a company executive was heard saying “If we get bigger than 150, we might have to go with Airbus”. I wonder what the total cost of having a 150-inch plasma in your home small palace, will be.

What are your thoughts guys?

Panasonic shows off the biggest (150-inch) HD plasma in the world

CES in Las Vegas is very important for so many tech companies and many of them come with products that will get a really good attention from the media and the visitor. However, today Panasonic managed to get a lot of eyes on their biggest plasma we’ve ever seen. Check out this picture below (from Gizmodo).

Panasonic 150-inch HD plasma

It’s a Panasonic 150-inch plasma display and if you expected me to say big, that’s not enough. On a 150-inch screen you can easily include an actual sized elephant so consider buying one for your home theater. It sports a 4,000 x 2,000 resolution with 4,000 on 1080p (yes it’s HD) and uses a lot less power using the double luminance efficiency.

Here is the video from Engadget.
