Rubik Cube MP3 Player

Posted Thursday, November 13th, 2008 by TechGeek

While browsing the web tonight I decided to drop in on our friends over at YankoDesign. They have designed a Rubik Cube that also plays MP3’s! By solving the puzzle each layer at a time enables the player’s functionality e.g. play, pause, forward, back. The coolest thing about this gadget is that you can only turn it off by completing the puzzle.

 Newman Cool Man mp3 player

If you haven’t quite reached your flair quota, or you are hopelessly stuck in the 1980’s fashion-wise here’s the COOL MAN, Newman’s new MP3 player.Perhaps the most interesting thing about the COOL MAN is that you can clip it on using a safety pin. To my suit? Right?

The “Button MP3? plays WMA and MP3 files, has cute buttons below the OLED monochrome display. Rumors say that it will come with 1GB of memory and with a cheap price. Otherwise, we’re not really interested. Are you?

New Wireless technology for RCA Jet Stream

Posted Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu

RCA Jet Stream is a media player, if you would thought about anything else. Nothing spectacular, but let me explain you why this would be interesting. The RCA Jet Stream has a tiny OLED screen, offers 1GB of storage, an FM tuner, and battery life of 12 hours. We don’t want to neglect its in-fashion design.

Besides all this, the MP3 player comes along with two wireless ear buds. The wireless headphones don’t use the regular Bluetooth but the Kleer wireless technology. As Engadget sustains this technology takes on Bluetooth because of lower power consumption. It is said the battery lasts 10 times as long as Bluetooth headsets. However the range for this Kleer wireless technology is only 5-6 feet.

The device went to FCC for tests. It will probably hit the market somewhere at the beginning of 2008, although there are no official announcements. RCA Jet Stream and the wireless headsets will be retailed for $129, says Engadget.
