Nokia delays N-GAGE, and the music store lacks Warner’s songs

Nokia delays N-GAGE, and the music store lacks Warner’s songsIt sounds really strange but Nokia just announced today they will be delaying the August-announced gaming service, N-GAGE from November to December, because they need to have more tests done on it. Let’s just hope we get to see it live before the Holidays because people will have lots of free time to play.

“N-gage is coming in December. Software testing is taking a bit more time than what we had expected,” Kari Tuutti said. “We are talking about a couple of weeks.”

Other bad news refers to Nokia’s music store that will lack Warner Music Group’s songs because these guys are afraid of the file-sharing system Nokia has on Mosh (Mobile Sharing) with copyright issues and illegal downloads. I’m not sure what’s the relation between the music store and Mosh, but even like that Warner shouldn’t have any problems because Nokia is using “fingerprint” technology to play safe.

“There are still more than 2 million titles in the store,” Tuutti said, adding that other major labels — Universal Music Group, EMI and SonyBMG — were involved, along with numerous independent labels.

Will see in December what will happen!
