New LCD monitors are being introduced to the market what seems like everyday. Each of the new LCD monitors that come out have their good and bad features and each of the LCD screens have different levels of sharpness where the picture is seen. Dell has come out with a revolutionary LCD monitor that can be viewed from just about any viewing angle possible.

This LCD monitor is the Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23″W Monitor. With the ability to see the screen from different angles means that people on the sides of the monitor will see exactly what the person in front is seeing. Dell has used their proprietary In-plane switching technology and combined it with full HD resolution, 1920×1080. This monitor has a 23″ display area as well as a 16:9 widescreen aspect ration. The Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23″W Monitor has Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Silver ratings meaning that you will be energy efficient when using the monitor. The UltraSharp U2311H also has a wide variety of connection options including 1 Digital Visual Interface connectors, USB 2.0 upstream port and 4 USB downstream ports. Surprise surprise! AOC has announced recently their newest $429.99 2218Ph LCD monitor that according to them will bring PC users a touch of that long-expected and amazing Mac flavour.

“Incredibly sleek design and powerful performance, AOC’s 2218Ph goes head-to-head with the latest and greatest of today’s computer monitors and comes out ahead of the pack” the press release says.

According to some rumors supported by this image below, this beautiful and elegant display features an amazing metallic workmanship with a polished aluminum cabinet, a zinc multi-flex stand and a piano black finish.

In addition to all that, it boasts with a 1,680 x 1,050 native resolution, HDCP-compliant HDMI input, 2-millisecond response time, 12,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, illuminating touch-key and obviously a Windows Vista Certified sticker.

So … start saving money and turn your PC into a Mac or at least try repeating that in your head.

It’s been some time since we talked about some fancy monitors. Toshiba is trying to make us drool with their newest WQUXGA 22-inch monitor they’re working on, which does 3,840×2,400 resolutions. This really sounds interesting, right? But would you be set back if I tell you this little one sports 300:1 contrast ratios? Would you be interested to know that you’d have to pay $18,000 for the monitor itself and another $2,700 if you plan to connect it to your PC? I am sure I can’t afford to pay 20 grand on a monitor and I guess Gizmodo heard me because they found a 22-inch WQUXGA by ADTX which costs only (not sure what contrast rate or resolution) $1,700.
