The Army Is Able to Make Tanks Invisible?
Posted Thursday, November 1st, 2007 by Mihnea BoiangiuThe British Ministry of Defense announced it can make tanks invisible using the new technology. The Army predicted that such a tank will be available in 2012. The technology uses cameras and projectors that actually project the surrounding environment onto the tank. Consequently, if someone looks in the direction of the vehicle, he will only see what’s beyond it.

This “invisible technology” is more like an illusion for the eyes. The tank exists, it is there on the field, but the cameras and projectors hide it for enemy’s sight. I believe this is possible, because the technology evolves every day. It seems the Army also prepares an invisible jacket based on the same principle. Perhaps in ten years from now the army troops won’t need to battle anymore because they don’t see each other.
