The new T-Mobile G1 or the , has been released in the US last week and the Chinese already got their hands on it and are illegally selling it for RMB 3,999 (about $550). In the US, G1 is bound on a two-year contract with T-Mobile and sells for $180 so I suppose it’s too bad for those that want to pay the extra fee (add $73 to unlock it if needed) because I’m sure will soon hit the Asian markets and the price won’t be that peppered. Next to get the -based , are the Brits in early November, followed by Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands in the first quarter of 2009. – via Pacificepoch

HTC Touch Diamond on Sprint from September

Posted Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 by Alex Ion

Just a quick question. Would you buy the if it would be on , if it were $299. Of course that’s the price after signing a contract for 2 years and getting all sorts of rebates, but I still think that’s a good deal.

The main specs include the TouchFLO 3D user interface, a full HTML (Opera) browser, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 4GB internal memory, stereo Bluetooth technology and EV-DO Rev. A. It’s running Windows Mobile 6.1 and is going to offer support for Outlook Email, Mobile E-mail (IMAP and POP3), Picture Mail, Navigation and Live Search, TV and Music Store.

I don’t think that’s a bargain but I think is really going the right way with this one. I’d definitely get mine with them.

HTC Advantage X7510, late June for $1,300

Posted Friday, June 20th, 2008 by Alex Ion

HTC Advantage X7510

is going to launch its second generation – a pocket sized laptop with great power and usability. It features a high end 16 GB internal flash memory, finger print reader and face detection, anti-spill keyboard and it gives great power working with multimedia and office documents and web browsing.

Advantage X7510 features a 5-inch touch screen placed intelligently under the keyboard, that you can access by sliding the keyboard. It is controlled by a finger friendly application and should be perfect for people who are on-the-go but need to stay in the loop, all without compromising power and functionality.

Although preorders went from $1300 back in March, it’s pretty uncommon for such prices to actually stick. If you’re an anxious customers who can’t wait for it to be available, don’t get lured in with such “offers”.

HTC Touch Diamond

First batch of 10,000 units of have been shipped today to Hong Kong CSL. I’ll have to be honest and tell you that I’m already drooling but I can’t do anything about it. Just like all other I’ll have to wait till June, when will begin shipping to European and Asia-Pacific operators. These are moments when I am glad I don’t live in the States because the report from Digitimes doesn’t mention anything about the new being shipped to US.
