computers seem to be everywhere. It is no surprise that would jump into the market with the Dell . The unique thing about the Dell is that it is both a and a smartphone. The Dell Streak has mobile phone service through AT&T. This has a 5 inch touchscreen display screen, Android 1.6 operating system and a fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The Dell Streak has one touch access to some of the most popular Google mobile services. These include YouTube, Picasa, Google Maps, GTalk instant messaging and Google Search. The Streak also features quick access to email, calendars, contacts and thousands of applications from the Android Market. One of the other great features about the Dell Streak is the high resolution 5 megapixel camera which can also be used as a camcorder. The camera features auto-focus and dual LED flash. The Streak’s camera has a front facing camera for easy video chatting. Some of the other features of the Dell Streak are 2 GB internal memory, stereo and device music streaming, a 1530 mAh rechargeable battery and a microSD memory expansion slot. The Dell Streak is the perfect tablet/smartphone for the person who wants to take the world with them wherever they may go.

New monitors are being introduced to the market what seems like everyday. Each of the new monitors that come out have their good and bad features and each of the screens have different levels of sharpness where the picture is seen. has come out with a revolutionary that can be viewed from just about any viewing angle possible.

This is the Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23″W Monitor. With the ability to see the screen from different angles means that people on the sides of the monitor will see exactly what the person in front is seeing. Dell has used their proprietary In-plane switching technology and combined it with full HD resolution, 1920×1080. This monitor has a 23″ display area as well as a 16:9 aspect ration. The Dell UltraSharp U2311H 23″W Monitor has Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Silver ratings meaning that you will be energy efficient when using the monitor. Dell SP2309W Gonna Sell For $379

Though the prices for screen monitors aren’t exactly cheap these days, good news came our way. has just announced that their flat panel is going to sell for $379. The specs aren’t the greatest but expect to get a 2048 x 1152 resolution, 300 nits of eye-searing brightness, a 80,000:1 contrast ratio, plus one DVI, one HDMI and one VGA port. Sounds like a bargain to me, so you’d better go check up on these guys and see what’s with the deal. Looks incredible good, don’t you think? [via Dell]

Dell presented a bamboo PC as Earth Day gift

Yesterday, April 22nd, was celebrated the . On this occasion, Michael unveiled at the Fortune Green conference a wooden PC. This eco-device has a bamboo case, and uses 70 percent less energy than a regular PC. Moreover, the bamboo box was built using recycled materials like old bottles, milk jugs and detergent cases. Personally, I am glad that some companies project such devices to protect the environment.

Without disclosing any specs, Dell has announced that the product would come out later this year and would be priced between $500 and $700. As I see it, the eco-PC looks good and it could compete with Apple’s Mac mini. What do you think?

The XT has a great success and is ready to come up with the next generation. will sport the same 12.1-inch from the original XP but will work with Intel’s latest Montevina (Centrino 2) processor, both ULV (ultra low voltage) and LV types. It’s going to be packed with UMA graphics that should support Vista Aero, comes with an ultra-thin optical drive and replaces USB ports with eSATA.

The new Dell should be available from November 2008.

Upgraded Dell Precission M6300 is getting a small upgrade. Since the laptop manufacturer is keen on putting Penryn processors in more and more of their products if you want to buy a M6300 you now have two processor options, a 2.6 GHz Core 2 Duo (T9500) or a 2.8 GHz Core 2 Extreme (X900).

If it was a new graphics card you wanted, rest assured, there are two of them available. NVIDIA Quadro FX 3600M with 512 MB of dedicated RAM or the 1600M model with 256 MB dedicated. In terms of RAM memory it goes up to 8GB (which seems to be enough these days) divided in two 4GB DIMMs.

The standard version for the new starts at $1,769 and if you need a 32 or 64 GB SSD add $631 or $1,030.

The specs are great with a 6ms response time, 3000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 400 cd/m² brightness, uses the TrueColor technology with 110% gamut and has a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 to bring you “exceptional clarity and vibrant color”.

Offers a viewing angle of 178° horizontal and 178° vertical.

comes with a lot of input options including HDMI, DVI, VGA, S-Video and composite video but also a 4-port USB hub and a 9-in-2 media card reader. Now you have where to choose from. One last thing, it also supports DisplayPort connectivity for the next-gen graphics cards. That’s great.
