This is a 9 inch DVD player from Toshiba designed to be portable and so it weighs just 2 pounds and measures 10.2 x 7.5 x 1.3 inches. The 9 inch LCD display is a TFT active matrix with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The top resolution is 800 x 400 pixels which looks great on a screen this size. It supports DVDs and CDs and also DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R and CD-RW. It can also handle JPEGs, MP3s and movies using DivX compression.
There are built in stereo speakers offering virtual surround sound and the audio quality is good for a device this size. As an alternative to the speakers there are 2 headphone ports. There are also 2 composite ports (in and out) and a digital audio output. You can also use SD memory cards with this device. It comes with a remote control and power adapter and a full charge will give you 5 hours of viewing pleasure. It costs $164.95 on Amazon.
