Tascam is a well known company in the audio market, and they have managed to surprise again with the new Tascam MP-GT1, “the first MP3 player designed for musicians”, as they like to call it. MP-GT1 is not just a simple mp3 player, it’s much more. It has playback speed level adjusting via Variable Speed Audition, manual pitch correction and has enough memory to store over 200 songs. They also have implemented a guitar canceler effect that strips the guitar part which you can then play it solely to improve your skills.

This is really what portable media means. Listening and learning on the go. Tascam MP-GT1 has a guitar input to connect to, multi-effects, integrated tuner and metronome, LCD display battery and navigation wheel. It also has USB connector that would download MP3s from the computer and recharge the batteries like that. Release date is set for Japan by the end of February with an open price.
