Rivaling the iPod nano, iRiver clix 2 gen is shipping in US. iRiver America has redesigned the iRiver clix media player. The new look brings a 2.2″ AMOLED display, and sleek design. The device was previewed at CES, and it keeps the same size, embedding the buttons on the margins.

iRiver ships in three storage variants: 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB, which retails at $149, $199, and $249 respectively. Its users have the possibility to access the pay-per-song music services to download from millions of audio tracks. iRiver clix supports the following media files: MPEG, MP3, WMA, OGG, WMV, and MPEG4. The battery life goes up to 24 hours for audio listening and up to 5 hours for video playing. Other features I need to mention are the built-in FM tuner and the USB port. - MIHNEA BOIANGIU
