HP to launch Voodoo Envy HW:201 notebook PC
Posted January 8th, 2007 by Alex IonHP launched a gaming notebook from the company they have acquired in November 2006, Voodoo PC. It’s fast and is focused on performance, the new Voodoo Envy HW:201 is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core, 64-bit, with two Nvidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX GPUs (graphic processing units) running in SLI (scalable link interface).
With the specs it has, this new laptop is quite a good replacement for a powerful desktop computer. Two hard drives with up to 320Gb space, with RAID 0 possibilities if chosen, with 18.75 x 13.5 x 1.9 inch frame and as a battery review, it’s not great at all. Consumption is high. It also comes with a Webcam, Bluetooth and 802.11 connectivity and a theater audio system.

Though the fact that the price is not yet disclosed by HP officials, and that the new Vodoo Envy HW:201 is not yet launched on Voodoo’s website it’s quite weird. Wonder how much it costs ? I would say big time.
