Creative’ Zen Vision - Get The Bigger Picture
Posted January 21st, 2007 by Marius TrusculescuApple apparently wanted to give their opponents some time to develop a product which can steal iPod’s first spot as they didn’t presented an upgrade to their mp3 line at this month’s MacWorld. Meanwhile new products appeared on the marketand it is my opinion that Apple doesn’t have the best and the sexiest player around as the K5 will prove to be a tough competitor.
On the portable devices market there is a lot of competition regarding the best product for watching videos and I find the most appropriate player to be the Zen Vision. Why? Because it has a pretty large screen at 3.7″ LCD display showing a resolution of 640×480 pixels and 260 millions of colors for video playback. The device also supports numerous video and audio formats allowing you to see almost any type of movie without needing to convert it. JPEG pictures are also supported and there is a very intuitive program to serve for image slideshows.

For those of you who want to transfer pictures from the digital camera directly to the Zen Vision, Creative added a Compact Flash card slot for compatible memory cards. The device also connects to a PC trough an USB 2.0 port and there is also video and audio output compatible with the PAL and NTSC standards for direct streaming to your home entertainment unit. An radio Fm tuner and voice recording are also included
The Zen Vision can also be used for keeping track of your task as an calendar application is also available with the posibility of synchronizing it with Outlook.
