Walmart Looking to Avoid Black Friday Death

The clamour to get a bargain on Black Friday can be seriously dangerous for your health. This isn’t a simple day of sales and shopping it is a merciless competition for cut priced goods. If you don’t believe me then consider the man trampled to death in a Walmart crowd last year, Mr Damour actually died after the crowd spilled out of control in anticipation of a Walmart sale. Another woman who was present suffered a broken arm in the same stampede.
In order to avoid another nightmare scenario this year the majority of Walmart stores will be open for 24 hours so there will be no crush as people look to gain entry. They are also expected to take on extra staff to cope with the increased demand and direct shoppers in store. The National Retail Federation even issued guidelines to try and help prevent another incident this year. So just be careful when you go in search of those Black Friday bargains.
