Upset citizen will sue over red-light cameras for $3 mil

It looks like the red-light cameras are really doing a great job for the police to cash in tickets because people are becoming more and more annoyed by them after they are busted. That’s the case of David A. Czech that’s going to sue the city of Northwood, Ohio, the police department and the maker of the red-light cameras. Apparently this kind of supervising is just an “unconstitutional ordinance to extort money” from people like them that only cross red lights. Why I am saying, them? Because the crazy upset citizen is filing on behalf of another 20,000 people that got tickets issued.
The red-light cameras in Northwood, four of them, have been installed in January 2005 and ever since they are working on a scheme to get money from people breaking the law. Why would one like mr. Czech ever file a suit against something he’s been doing wrong? Why can’t you wait a few seconds for the light to turn green? Weird huh? Let’s hope Judge Robert Pollex from the Wood County Common Pleas Court will have his head on the shoulders and will rule a fair verdict.
