Tune Command AV for iPod

Posted January 13th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

The iPods are great devices but they can’t have all the features there owners will want. Consequently the market of iPod accessories has risen and people have today numerous customizations options starting from Fm tuners to voice recorders.

iPod accesoriesOne of this accessories is the topic of this current post: the Tune Command AV. This little gadget produced by Belkin allows listening to music and watching movies on your iPod by connecting the mp3 player to the home entertainment unit. The Tune Command connects to the iPod trough a docking station that also allows the recharging of Apple’s product. On the other side the connection to the home entertainment unit is provided by a AV cable that direct the video and sound from the iPod to the speakers and screen(s) in you living-room.

A great add-on to this device is the remote controller that allows simple operation from a distance up to 130 ft. All the features of this device came at little cost as the $89.99 price is more than fair. Unfortunately the Tune Command Av was not available last time I checked the producer’s website.
