The creators of this device thought of incorporating a small pump that will modify the volume of the drive depending on the amount of data it holds. So when you run out of memory the you will see your stick ready to burst just like the one in the picture above.

According to the producers you can asses the amount of data you can copy on your memory drive by estimating its size.
