The Sonance Kayak Speaker
Posted August 22nd, 2008 by Alex IonIf we’re to consider simply the shape, well you can say it somehow resembles with a kayak. Right? I don’t know exactly who got the inspiration to call it the Kayak speaker, but I also don’t care.
The guys at NACSound who designed it, managed to create something that really got my attention. Could it be because I’m renovating my apartment and I have to buy furniture and stuff? Probably. Most likely!

But what’s up with the Sonance Kayak Speaker? Apparently it can be installed both horizontally and vertically and it offers stereophonic sound from a single speaker thanks to an acoustic reflector suspended in the center. Output is decent I must say: 60W with a sensitivity of about 86dB.
There’s one smaaaall drawback to me buying it for my living room. It costs only $2,900
