Sony announces Internet Video Link for Bravia series
Posted March 3rd, 2007 by Alex IonThe new Sony Bravia series, are going to feature the Internet Video Link module. Once attached to the compatible TV, it allows internet access, video programming and even high-definition content offered by distributors like AOL, Yahoo! and Grouper or Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony BMG Music.
The Internet Video Link module will connect your TV, directly to the broadband internet services of your provider via Ethernet so that you can access video clips, movie trailers, RSSÂ feeds or even video programming, all these without using a computer. However, using the service would require a pretty smart user-interface that will be provided by Xross Media Bar (XMB), that was also used for PlayStation 3. You will be able to browse the internet, also, by using the classic TV menu.
