Sharp 1-Bit Theater AQUOS Audio System with Blu-Ray player

For those of you that have a big living room with a large screen TV and is very demanding from its audio system should take a look at the new Sharp 1-Bit AQUOS BD-MPC70. This is the “flagship”, as they call it, with a built-in Blu-ray disc player, 1080p-compatible and a surround amplifier with Sharp’s 1-Bit digital amp technology, things that will make this new 7.1 home theater system with modern design speakers to go along, nicely, with the high quality AQUOS LCD TV.

The surround system is proudly powered by 2 front speakers, 2 surround-sound speakers, 2 surround-back speakers, 1 center speaker and 1 sub-woofer. It also comes with a HDMI port, has a total maximum audio output of 175W (each speaker 25W), one video output, S-Video and D Video jack. The external dimensions are 440 x 445.5 x 204 mm for the amplifier main unit, the sub-woofer is 440 x 195 x 390mm and the speakers 288 x 288 x 748. Now for the big news! The price for the new Sharp 1-Bit AQUOS BD-MPC70 is $8800 or €6700, which is not at all cheap. Release date is set for 25th June. Read more on Sharp.
