Panasonic SDR-S10 Camcorder Details Unveiled
Posted March 10th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu
As we announced earlier last month SDR-S10 is the name of a new SD memory card camcorder, and Panasonic presented further details on it this Thursday in Las Vegas. This compact
rugged camcorder is ready for some tough conditions as it has a water-resistant and dust-proof design and it lacks any moving parts in the image capturing and storing processes which means it is able to resist falls of more than 4 ft. (1.3 meters). As it is both small and resistant, this camera is ideal for when you are on the move.
The SDR-S10 features a 10x optical zoom, a 2.7″ wide LCD display and it is powered on in about 1.7 seconds. The new camera ships with a 2 GB SD card as it features a memory card slot compatible with the SD and SDHC standards. If you consider that is not enough storage 4 GB SD cards are supported and SanDisk just announced an 8 GB SDHC card.
Expected to ship this April the camera will have a suggested price of $399.95.
