CES 2007 certainly brought a lot of new product announcements and laptops were not neglected in this regard. Peeks at a new Pavilion being in development by HP look really promising.

Details are scarce but from the few information I have it seems we are going to have a very powerful new toy on our hands. An AMD turion X2 processor will be powering the device and a Nvidia graphics card will take care of the video display. Speaking about video capabilities, you should know there is a 1.3 MP camera included and a 12.1″ touch screen display. If you like your information secure the TX1000 is the laptop you are looking for as it includes a fingerprint reader.WiFi connectivity will be of course available and later this year Hp promises to add WWAN.

I must confess the HP Pavilion TX 1000 seems appealing to me and I am eager for its release as my laptop seems pretty boring compared to this one.
