Boeing patented in secret the Hijacker-Proof device

Boeing patented in secret the Hijacker-Proof device We need more solutions for possible events like the 9/11 that makes us vulnerable. Looks like Boeing has been secretly patented and is working on developing the hijacker-proof device, the “uninterruptible autopilot system”, that would trigger the autopilot for a plane in a way that you cannot reverse it, and it activates either by the pilot using a simple switch or automatically when someone forces the cockpit entrance.

The idea is not bad since the plane would be controlled from the ground by radio waves and global satellite positioning systems to land it in a safe area like a military base for example where proper measure could be taken. The system could be ready to use on all the passenger airplanes around the world, in about three years. Meanwhile they have another solution, the passenger monitoring device, which is a system formed of tiny surveillance cameras that will be linked to ground computers and where faces, smiles, or sneezes would be analyzed by specialists to identify possible terrorists.

As for the hijacker proof autopilot system, I am confident that it will be a great point into keeping those terrorists outside of our buildings, because there is no chance (theoretically) to gain control of the plane. But there are question that rise on such a case though. What will happen if the system is not bug-free, what will happen when someone accidentally bumps into the cockpit door? Do they have solutions for these? I just hope Boeing can make flying safer!
