Apple TV is on the market!

Apple TV

Apple announced today that their expected Apple TV is available. Now you can turn your computer in an entertainment center. You can watch movies, TV shows, podcasts and photos directly on your widescreen TV. The device syncs wirelessly from your Mac or PC and plays your favorite movies on your plasma TV.

Apple TV retails for $299. That is the price for the new era entertainment. The Apple TV is a simple device. It doesn’t replace your DVD player or cable receiver, because its only purpose is to share your multimedia files stored on your computer. It has a limitation, because it can’t access Internet directly. First you need to download the movies with iTunes and then the Appe TV will grab them. Personally, I find this tiny device quite interesting. It eases your work because you won’t need a bunch of connectors to watch the multimedia content from your computer on a big screen.
