Alpine iDA-X001 car deck made for iPod
Posted February 16th, 2007 by Alex IonIf you are a gadget fan and you drive a car I am sure you would love to have all kind of techy devices with play, record, connect, skip, buttons and volumes that you could press. You want your car to be your small concert hall for those 10 minutes it takes you to get home (for some of us less fortunate, more than that) and you want to connect all the gadgets you own, to it.

Looks like Alpine is thinking of us, and the new Alpine iDA-X001 is based on that idea. You can connect your iPod via the dock port and that is not all because you also get control of your iPod from the deck making it easy to switch between tracks or increase the volume. All these are nicely presented on the bright 2.2-inch full color TFT screen diplay that brings a 320×240 resolution. Though I said the new Alpine deck is made for iPod rest assured that you are able to connect other devices via a standard USB port or via stereo Bluetooth (that one is optional) making it easy to connect a mobile phone to your digital media receiver.
Alpine iDA-X001 will give you high fidelity sound, with crystal clear digital connection that uses a 24-bit DAC and dynamic MediaXpander processing. All I can think of, now, is if it’s going to play video files, too! No matter what, I would still love one in my Citroen C4 Coupe to fill it with the latest favorite songs that I have on my iPod. If you need a price for it, prepare to pay $450 because that baby is nothing but cheap. Check it on Alpine-USA.
