Zenum Opus Operis

Posted March 7th, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu

Cool name and cool device! I was telling you about Zenum Technologies in the article below. The manufacturer has announced another interesting product: Zenum Opus Operis. It is a PDA mobile phone. In comparison to Zenum Organum media player, this mobile is better equipped. It works on GSM 900/1800/1900 networks. I think Zenum were inspired by the Blackberry when they created this device. Zenum Opus Operis features a full QWERTY keyboard and runs Window Mobile 5.0 Pocket Edition at 64MB RAM.

The phone is very impressive. Features like 2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi are standards for a business mobile, so you have them here. The 2.5″ TFT LCD display has a touch panel, as you can see it in the picture. Regarding the connectivity, Zenum should improve the Bluetooth which is version 1.2 compliant. In addition, the PDA has USB port and IrDA infrared port. Zenum Opus Operis supports the following audio/video extensions: MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, AVI and WMV. Memory is expandable up to 1GB using miniSD cards.

Zenum Opus Operis - Back

Zenum Opus Operis was announced in September 2006. The release date was set at the end of 2006, but Zenum Technologies came with a new update. On their homepage is a message about the new release date: Spring 2007. Maybe you know that CeBit is approaching. This could be a great moment for launching the Opus Operis. We don’t know details about the price. Overall, I am pleased with this device. It looks very nice and is very well equipped. As it seems to me, with the right price it could get to the top.
