Sprint Katana II

The Sprint Sanyo Katana II is a slim flip-open mobile phone which improves on the original Katana range. It looks a lot like the hugely popular Motorola Razr but this is a no frills budget phone. Much like the Razr there’s a 1 inch external display and the phone flips open to reveal a 2.2 inch color screen within. It has apparently had a memory upgrade since the original Katana and now offers 21MB and updated Bluetooth connectivity.
The other features are the basics you would expect and the phone comes in a choice of pink, black or grey. There’s a poor quality VGA camera but it does have built in GPS and as a cheap option it does enough to cater for most needs. There is a lot of hype about additional functions on mobile phones but many people are satisfied with something that does the job it was intended for and the Sprint Katana II certainly does that.
