Sony-Ericsson W200 the walkman phone

Sony Ericsson launched the alternative for the street walkman, which is actually a mobile phone. They call it “the Walkman Phone for Everyone”. It has good storage capabilities being able to store about 4 albums on the 128MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) upgradeable to 1GB , which are being played with the Disc2Phone music management software.
The W200 has two very nice features. One is the HPM-64 stereo headphone featuring Bass Reflex and the other one is the FM radio receiver permitting to store 20 radio stations. About design is pretty nice. With two renowned Walkman phone colors (Rhythm Black & Pulse White) this is a good choice for a multimedia mobile phone. Though it has a VGA 4x digital zoom camera, the snapshots are not really great, but the integrated photo album is a good addition.
The main advantages of the Sony Ericsson W200 are the full HTML web browser, push email, PC sync, video messaging and the Java MIDP 2.0. As a disadvantage we put here the low resolution screen with the 65k colors. Not nice. Overall Sony Ericsson launched a walkman with mobile phone capabilities, rather than otherwise. Will be available on markets from Q2 2007.
