Sony Ericsson unveils W705: Bringing Wi-Fi to the Walkman range!
Posted November 27th, 2008 by Alex IonSony Ericsson has officially announced the release of their latest addition to the series with the W705 and the newest member of the series brings with it Wi-Fi capability to the Walkman range for the very first time.

Sony Ericsson W705 is a 3G slider with HSDPA support and you would also get the latest Sony Ericsson Walkman v3.0 software, an FM RDS radio and the YouTube video service. It also sports a 3.5 megapixel camera with flash and for a phone that is designed for music that is pretty good stuff. Also, the addition of Wi-Fi surely makes downloading videos and music a lot easier for you.
The W705 somehow mysteriously seems to miss the 3.5mm socket for your own headphones, but makes that up with an adapter. The standby of 400 hours and a talktime of 10 hours are impressive and W705 also seems to be fine fitting into your pocket with the 98 gm in weight and 14mm in thickness. - via DialAPhone
