The Samsung SGH-i728 is a GPS enabled mobile phone with some nifty features. The color LCD screen is high resolution and nearly 3 inches, the camera is 3 Mega Pixels and you can record video as well as take high quality photos. It also has touch screen technology, analog TV, the ability to play MP4′s or MP3′s through stereoscopic double speakers and a fairly attractive sleek slide-open design.
This is part of South Korean firm Samsung’s attempt to capture the Chinese market and it has taken a little longer to reach the UK. The GPS capability allows it to guide people to their destination, provide traffic updates, weather and local news and help them to find restaurants or entertainment. China is a fast growing market and already accounts for more mobile phone sales than any other country so there is no surprise that it was released there first.
