Samsung SGH-F300 Ultra Music
Posted January 17th, 2007 by Alex Ion

The new Samsung SGH-F300 is the mobile phone with two sides (actually two LCD displays), the music side and the phone side all in an ingenious 9.4mm thick piece of jewelry. Switching between those two screens is very easy, it’s just a push of a button on one side of the mobile.
The music side of the new Samsung SGH-F300 supports MP3, WMA and AAC, and playing music is as easy as plugging a SD card into the slot or taking advantage of the 400MB built-in memory. It looks just like a real media player specially designed for that, with nice features like displaying the album of the played track.
About the phone side, which is what this cellphone is about, is actually very very tiny making it very hard to work with. You can read text messages on the big display but you will have to dial using the small one, same with adding contacts to the phone book. However don’t think that you will get a hard time browsing the cellphone because the Menu is very well built and fits the space.
It’s a nice combination with those two LCD screens, switching from one to another, a combination of a cell phone that has music player capabilities. Release date is set for the second quarter 2007 in the US and will be a CDMA phone. No price set and no carrier selected for the new Samsung SGH-F300 Ultra Music.
