This is Samsung’s first foray into supporting the Android operating system. The Moment runs on the 3G network and it features a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen and a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. Thanks to Android you get full access to Google services and that includes GPS navigation using Google Maps. The phone also supports Sprint TV for video on demand and Visual Voicemail. This phone is ideal for web browsing, email and instant messaging and it offers easy access to social networking websites.
Additional features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture capabilities. There is also support for Wi-Fi (802.11b or g) and Bluetooth 2.1 for hands free and stereo streaming headphones. The phone ships with a 2 GB microSD memory card which you can expand on if required. You’ll get 5.5 hours of talk time from a fully charged battery. If you take out a new 2 year service plan with Sprint then you’ll get this handset for $79.99.
