This is a thinner version of the Samsung Gravity which features an improved slide out full QWERTY keyboard. It also has 3G capabilities, GPS technology and an improved camera and camcorder. The GPS can give you a real time location and driving directions but you’ll need to subscribe to a monthly service (you get a free 14 day TeleNav trial). The camera is 2 megapixels and the LCD screen is 240 x 320 pixels. The phone works as a digital media player for audio or video and there is Bluetooth support for wireless stereo headphones.
The phone ships with just 40 MB of internal memory but you can add microSD memory cards up to 16 GB. You can also use the phone to browse the web and send emails and there are a number of typical organizer tools. It also supports speaker phone and voice dialling. Battery life is good for over 5 hours of talk time. You can get this phone free with a T-Mobile contract.
