Samsung Announcing GPS & Slider Symbian Smartphones

Call me stupid, but I still don’t know why Samsung is supporting an open source OS that has so many flaws and is running slow, when Google’s Android is on the market and rapidly gaining market share.
During an event in London, Samsung presented a couple of smartphones running Symbian. I’m talking about Samsung I7110 which is both a phone and a navigation device that features a GPS navigation program with geo-tagging, while Samsung L870 is a fashion cell. Check out a couple of specs and see for yourself if it’s worth buying
I7110 : 5MP camera, multiple codec support, 50MB of internal memory (expandable up to 16GB with a microSD slot), and an FM transmitter
L870: 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 3MP camera, FM radio, a music player, Bluetooth, and 100MB of internal memory (expandable up to 4GB), email, document viewers and such. – via
