Pantech IM-S230 is the skinniest slider cellphone in the world

Posted June 21st, 2007 by Alex Ion

The race for the slimmest slider is really tough. It looks like Samsung U600 is not the holder of the record anymore, which was 10.9mm. Pantech IM-S230 is now the skinniest slider because it has a whole one millimeter less, making it 9.9mm thick. There you go, we are now ready for the 5mm thick slider, guys. Anyone to humor me?

Aside the thickness there is nothing very special about Pantech IM-S230. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera (can you please upgrade this one, Pantech?) a 2.2-inch display, has an MP3 player and DMB TV tuner. The price is high : $535 in Korea. Worth it? Not sure, but you can brag very easy with the skinniest phone in the world.
