Panasonic “Art Nouveau” - Phone Concept

Posted July 6th, 2007 by Alex Ion

A few minutes ago I laid my eyes on a Panasonic concept phone. Panasonic “Art Nouveau” is not from the official website but is the creation of an undergraduate student from the College of Fine Arts in Illinois, Christina Tapp. The eye catching image has the Panasonic which makes me think that either they could use some free publicity or they could really be interested to offer it in the future.

It’s obvious that the design is superb, but we can come up with a few negative points:

1. can I call my friends if their phone number includes 8, 9 or 0?
2. what kind of batteries would it have? It looks like there’s no space for them.
3. the price! I am sure it will be very expensive!
4. I don’t think it’s going to be very practical.

However, I am not going to think of the negative ideas right now, because I still have my eyes glued to the laptop looking at the pictures. If you want to see more of Ms. Tapp’s work you can take a look at her portfolio.
