AT&T partnered up with Palm to offer Centro to its subscribers. This didn’t came in as a surprise but the fact that the price is $99.99 did. You will have to subscribe on a two years plan to get Palm’s smallest and lightest handset on that price, but it’s still a good deal.
Palm Centro is a EDGE mobile phone that features a color touch-screen display, a full QWERTY keyboard, has Bluetooth, Instant Messaging (AIM, MSN, Yahoo!) and lots of e-mail options to stay informed. Regarding AT&T services, Palm Centro is going to launch with services like XM Radio Mobile, Push to Talk and MusicID.3.
For $9.99 a month you can get your Palm Centro to access maps, more than 10mil POI (points of interest) and turn-by-turn voice assistance.
First it’s going to launch in new glacier white with green keypad accents while in approximately one month, AT&T will debut a second color, obsidian black.
