NTT DoCoMo N703iμ and P703iμ - slimmest W-CDMA 3G phone
Posted January 18th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Just a few days ago, NTT DoCoMo have launched the 703i series consisting of eight ultra slim models. As a fact, the new N703iμ and P703iμ are as of 16th January the thinest W-CDMA handsets in the world, only 11.4mm thick with 103 x 49 x 11mm dimensions. Apart these properties, the camouflaged 7 x 7 dots external LED indicator is quite useful by displaying a variety of information.
It does however have an innovative feature, Privacy Angle, activate pressing the “8″ key, preventing other for seeing your information, by reducing viewing angles. Seems like a nice one. The phone also comes with an enhanced music player that supports SD Audio. The phones also feature a 1.3 megapixel camera and an optional microSD memory as external memory. There are small differences between the two ultra-slim models.
N703iμ has a display QVGA+ TFT LCD 240 x 350 dots (about 2.3-inches) weighting 90 grams and the P703iμ has a 240 x 320 dots QVGA TFT LCD weighting 98 grams, both of them with 262k colors. Now honestly, why should I choose NTT mobile phones, just for being the slimmest? I can either get a LG Prada or an iPhone, right? Release date is set for February, and no price tag yet.
