NOKIA N79 (for North America) Gets FCC Approval

Posted October 16th, 2008 by Alex Ion

It is a sad sight when you tend to open one of those dreadful FCC files and find some of the best mobile phones in the world lying rejected by it. The painful part is that a neat phone like the Nokia N79, which is mistakenly referred to as the Nokia RM350, lies grounded while a poorer American version of it sits pretty next to it all set to be launched in the market with an approval of ‘Pass’ stamped on it. This is America’s way of sidelining the others to make themselves more prominent and successful. It is a tear jerker but that is the way it has to be and will remain for time to come.
