This new N-Series cellphone will make sensation on the market. It is the slimmest 3G clamshell at the moment. Although Nokia has taken something from Motorola RAZR’s design, N76 is one of the most beautiful cellphones I’ve ever seen. The main idea is “intelligent inside, dynamic outside”. Nokia N76 is a veritable computer regarding the list of functions and features. It can shoot high-resolution pictures thanks to the 2megapixel camera, can play thousands of songs and connect instantly to the web.

The main attraction is the 2.4″ QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) 16M color main display. It is really impressive for a cellphone. The external display has 256k colors and 160 x 128 pixels. N76 supports WCDMA 2100/EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 or EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 for some regions. It runs S60 Platform SDK for Symbian OS, which allows its users to test JAVA applications compatible with S60 Platform. And this is not all! Nokia N76 is a great multimedia center. The 2M camera has 20x digital zoom, a 1600 x 1200 resolution , Red-Eye reduction and flash. The secondary camera can make pictures too and video clips. The music player supports a wide rage of audio files: AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, MP4, M4A, WMA, AMR (NB-AMR), MIDI Tones (poly 64), Mobile XMF, RealAudio 7,8,10, SP-MIDI, True tones (WB-AMR). The phone has dedicated one-touch music buttons. N76 supports video playback, video recording and streaming.

The list will continue. Nokia N76 is a great business organizer. It can work with Office Utilities like Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Besides, its users can manage PDF and zip files. I cannot miss the other utilities: Bluetooth, microSD card (2GB), USB port, Push-To-Talk and FM radio. The cellphone has a main disadvantage - the battery. Its battery life is not one of the best. The slim look has an expense - Nokia N76 only has 2 hours talktime on 3G and 2 hours 45 minutes on GSM while standby time is 8.5 days. To sum up, I would say N76 is a great device, maybe a gadget with stylish look and intelligence specific to Nokia. The price for European zone could go up to €390/£250. The phone is available in red or black.
