Kingmax 4GB microSDHC - first in the world

Kingmax is the first company in the world to announce the “so long wanted” 4GB microSDHC setting the market’s standards higher and higher. Using Samsung 66nm technologies the new memory card from Kingmax is two times bigger than what competition has and is also SD 2.0 speed compliant with great performances. Using Silicon Motion’s SMI 268 controller it supports dual channel read speeds of up to 22.5MBps and normal read speeds of up to 19.1MBps.

Now let’s dream on what can this little thing with huge storage place, be used at. With your digital camera which will now be set for high quality because you are not afraid of running out of memory, for your mobile phone to store songs or take photos, or for your portable media device. We don’t have a price and not even a release date. All we know is Kingmax’ press release.

Let’s wait and see. [via Engadget]
