E-TEN Glofiish X800 Debuts At CeBIT 2007

Posted March 15th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

For all of us who admired the Glofiish X500, E-ten has presented us with a new impressive device, better than their previous releases according to them. Actually, this is not 100% true as the X800 is not an all new device, but a remake of their old X600.

E-TEN Glofiish X800 (X600)According to the producer we are dealing with an ultra-thin all-in-one Pocket PC with 3.5G connectivity a VGA display and Windows Mobile 6. At least part of that statement is true as there are some attributes that depend on the person judging like the “ultra-thin” (113.5 x 60.5 x 15.8 mm) and the “all-in-one”. If by all-in-one you understand a device capable of making phone calls, working with office files, offering impressive multimedia experience and browsing the internet, then the previous assumption is correct.

The first thing worthy of admiration is the huge (when compared to normal products) VGA display delivering the impressive 640×480 resolution for better enjoying videos and pictures while on the move. The multimedia doesn’t end here as we also have music playback and 2 digital cameras, one in front for video calls and a larger one (2 MP) in the back for quality picture and video capturing. As it concerns the connectivity, you may be pleased to find out Eten’s Glofiish X800 can connect via Bluetooth & WiFi to your computer and GSM, HSDPA/WCDMA mobile phone connectivity is also included.

Although the new product can be currently admired at CEBIT, customers would be to wait until the second quarter of the year to make a purchase.
