DEEPFISH - mobile internet browser prototype from Microsoft

Posted April 2nd, 2007 by Alex Ion

Microsoft has a mobile internet browser prototype that is supposed to ease the way you surf the pages via your mobile phone. Deepfish was ‘designed for PC‘ as a smart problem solver from what they say, being able to load fast with a high level of intuition for websites that are mobile friendly or not. It also comes with zoom in and zoom out functions which are helpful on Pocket PCs and smartphones. However we don’t have a list of the devices Deepdish will be used on and which are compatible with it.

The technology is live and available for a limited number of visitors (first-come first-served) on labs.live.com/deepfish. I would suppose they don’t have any spots left now, but I am waiting for new ones in the future.
