Fly Like A Bird : Jet Packs (Rocket Belts) Are For Sale

Jet Packs (rocket belts)

When I saw those techy cartoons or movies about the “future” I always liked the jet packs: the correct name is rocket belts. Though this kind of products have been researched since 1953 the main problem was the weight. It looks like Tecnologia Aeroespacial Mexicana (TAM) and Jetpack International, the only two companies in the market are able to sell a product that will make you fly. Here are the specs in a little review.

Tam Rocket Belt will provide 30 seconds of flight with a maximum speed of 60MPH. On a full tank of hydrogen peroxide that would weight from 124 to 139 pounds depending on the pilot. The price is $250,000 and they include flight and maintenance training.
Jet Pack H202 flies in the air for 33 seconds with up to 70MPH, weights 139 pounds and will only cost $155,000 with the same things included. Next year is going to be great because they will release the T73 Turbine with will use jet fuel and will stay in the air for as long as 19 minutes. Price $200,000.
